Also known as a Tanino or Taninoplastia treatment, this is one of the most requested services at our Dominican beauty salon in Charlotte.
Keratin is a protein your hair already has. Color, heat styling, and daily wear break that protein down over time, which leaves hair frizzy, dull, or hard to manage. A professional keratin treatment rebuilds that layer, sealing the cuticle so hair feels smoother and holds its shine for months instead of days.
At Caribbean Queen, this treatment is offered under two names you'll see when you book: Taninoplastia and Botox. Both work on the same principle, rebuilding and smoothing the hair, but they're suited to different hair needs.

Your stylist assesses your hair, porosity, and goals before choosing the right treatment.

We prep hair with a clarifying shampoo so the treatment absorbs evenly, root to tip.

Treatment is applied section by section, then processed and sealed with heat.

Smoothing blow-dry and flat iron finish. Plan for two to three hours total.
Combine your treatment with a Dominican blowout for the smoothest possible finish, or pair it with hair styling if you have a big event coming up.
